The Saint Paul Farmers’ Market will host two weekends of free Halloween happenings, beginning October 23-24 on the Lowertown location with a Pumpkin Adorning Station after which October 30-31 all market areas will host Trick-or-Treating festivities for teenagers. They shared these pumpkin recipes with WCCO Mid-Morning viewers.
1 1⁄2 cup white sugar
1 1⁄2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup applesauce
2 cups of pumpkin puree
2⁄3 cup water
1⁄3 cup grated ginger
3 1⁄2 cups entire wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon floor ginger
1 teaspoon floor cinnamon
1 teaspoon floor allspice
1 teaspoon floor cloves
1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
Step 1: Preheat oven to 325 levels F (165 levels C). Grease 4 8×4- inch loaf pans flippantly with cooking spray.
